Brown's Hung Kuen Institute was founded by Naomi Brown Ignas to honor the legacy of her father Sifu Tony Brown (of Tony Brown's Kung Fu School) and to preserve and promote Traditional Southern Chinese Martial Arts. We thrive to be a center for learning, self-disicipline, and community.
We currently teach Hung Ga Kuen Kung Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi, and Lion Dance. We are based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where we offer in-person classes and private instruction. Online instruction is available for those who cannot attend in person.
We owe our skill to our Sifu Tony Brown, and his teachers and friends who have invested in the school through individual training and workshops throughout the 54 years that he trained and taught.
